Horsebackriding in this dreamy beach town is one of my favorite things to do ever. I always plan a little side trip to Essaouira to breathe salty air, enjoy the laid back atmosphere (in contrast to Marrakech it is the most chill town) and enjoy a day of riding the beautiful Arabian horses in Diabat, a village near Essaouira. This is not a sponsored post, by the way, I just want to recommend Equi Evasion since I had nothing but good experiences with them.

I am happy I have found a place in one of my favorite towns in the world, where you can ride beautiful horses that are well taken care of. Unfortunately animals are not always treated the way I wish they were, especially in this country, so I was especially happy to see that these beautiful animals are treated with a high amount of respect and care at the ranch.

There are several kinds of tours on offer, you can just go for an hour or a whole day with picknick, and they even do trips by horse along the coast over several days… for now I picked the one-day-trip as the best option for me.

As you can tell from the pictures, I went horse riding with them several times, with different horses and guides, and all of them were amazing. They also take your pictures with your camera, and I am happy to have picture proof of these perfect trips.

The ranch also has dromedarys, so tempted to do a tour with them next time!
